I grew up in New York and from a young age, I always wanted to be an artist. I have
loved skin care since I can remember. My parents told me that this was a dead end
career, and talked me into studying business. After receiving my degree In liberal
studies and a minor in art, I decided that this was not the world I wanted. I started
my quest to find out what I did want to do.
I got side tracked along the way and truly believe that everything is for a reason...
My husband and I opened il piatto restaurant and started raising our children.
I became very interested in wine and traveled to Europe, studying and tasting.
I look at wine as the most natural perfume in the world with flavors, that layer
and overlap and create the most memorable evenings.
Four years ago, I decided to focus on my passion. I found the Euro Institute of
Skin care which focuses on treating skin holistically and Incorporates skin care
as a part of a person's overall wellness. The skin being our largest organ in
our body , needs special love and care. This prestigious program taught me
all the things that I already valued.
I have been working as an Aesthetician for the last three years for a busy Salon.
I have had the opportunity to do the make-up for many weddings. I attended
Phytomer advanced training two times and trained with Jan Marini. Four years
ago, I learned about the growing research utilizing the benefits of grape
extracts in skin care products. After extensive research, I realized there was
a way to merge my love and respect of wine with my passion for skin care.
I was just waiting for the right time to put all the pieces together.
